She loves to curl up in a favorite chair with a good book...okay, well on your book while you are trying to read, but still counts! She really wants to be near her human & shower them with love. She loves all humans - men, women, kids. Not a fan of dogs but can tolerate cats that respect her boundaries. Barbara is low maintenance and low energy, so she's perfect for Netflix and chill nights at home. Barbara also has perfect litterbox manners, never missing the box once! She gets regular pedicures so unwanted scratching isn't an issue. Barbara is not picky about food & loves Churu treats & canned food the most. She's a toothless wonder, so she'll even save you money on expensive dental cleanings! Barbara is the sweetest old lady you will ever meet!

Our adoption process begins with an application! Once we receive your application, we will get started on completing a vet reference (if applicable) & landlord check (if applicable). Once those steps are complete, we will schedule a time to talk to you on the phone about what you are looking for & we will suggest some of the animals in our care that could be a match for your lifestyle! If you’ve applied for a specific animal, we will discuss them & work together to determine if this is the right fit for your lifestyle.

Wiggles Way Rescue was founded in 2025 to fill a gap in the DMV rescue community by focusing on middle-aged & senior Pit-Bull-type dogs at the Prince George's County Animal Shelter - one of the last localities across the United States with an active Pit Bull ban.
Wiggles Way operates based on 5 guiding principles: Fiscal Responsibility, Transparency, Communication, Appreciation, & Quality over Quantity. We believe in a rescue that supports & appreciates their invaluable volunteers while also maintaining realistic expectations for our operating capacity. This ensures that we can provide high-quality care to all of our volunteers & animals in the Wiggles Way family.
