My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is BamBam! An 8-month-old pittie/cattle dog mix with a goofy personality. He has not had much exposure to the world and is looking for a patient family that is willing to slowly show him all the fun things life has to offer! Bam is shy when meeting new people, but once he’s comfortable, his true personality comes out. He’s very playful, clumsy, likes treats and to sit next to the people he loves. He’s currently getting acclimated to wearing a leash. It will take time, but we’re confident he will be a good walking companion in the future. We have limited history on Bam so we’re unsure what he’s like with other dogs, cats or children. BamBam is very proud to show off his "sit" command.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
