I`m Lotus! I first came to PAAW by way of Avocato Catfe in Winter 2024. Me and my 7 babies took up residence in one of their rooms and no surprise, we were all scooped up pretty quick. I was adopted in January but unfortunately got FIP and my family couldn`t keep me. You see, FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) is a rare and very misunderstood disease caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus within an individual cat, and it cannot be directly transmitted from one cat to another. In August I began FIP treatment and quickly gained back the weight I had lost and my wobbly and unbalanced gait became more steady. At the end of October I graduated treatment as my bloodwork came back with all normal marks! I`m now ready for my true forever home.
I would be best as an only cat or with another chill, introverted kitty. I just don`t like when kitties invade my personal space. I love to snuggle on a lap and getting pets and brushes. I am very sweet and purr constantly. Please consider giving me my chance at forever.

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
