We rescued Jack from my old neighborhood where I lived prior to 2009. He was being neglected, not fed, so my husband and I brought him home. He is approximately 9 months old currently, we have fostered him a month, so we wanted to take him in and give him a chance. Jack is a good dog, he even knows how to shake paws! He is much smarter than he lets on, so he needs a proper trainer who can spend quality time with him.
He has lots of potential, especially with someone who can give Jack one-on-one training and time for play and burn off his energy. My husband seems to be the one he runs to and cuddles with since I am more the disciplinarian. He is fine with our cats, except they stay clear of Jack. He does not do well with our elderly Shepherd, trying to be the alpha male of the house.
Jack would be a great companion for maybe a single male.
