Hello everyone! I’m Lani! I was brought here to Woodford Humane as a teeny, tiny baby with my mom and siblings by a good Samaritan who found us. They’ve all found their forever homes and now its time for me to find my own! I’m a cute and playful girl, but if I’m being 100% honest with you, I’m not a fan of change. I get a little bit discombobulated and need some time to adjust. I absolutely love other kitties and would really, really, really like to have a kitty friend in my new home but it will probably take me a few days to decide that I like them. The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.
With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.
Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
