Hello everyone! My name is Lani! My siblings and I came here with our mom to the Humane Society when we were teeny tiny babies! Our mom Lucy took such good care of us, but now it’s time for us to spread our wings and find forever homes of our own! We are all brave and outgoing kittens who love to play. Our other favorite activity is snuggling, of course! It doesn’t matter if it’s a kitten pile or if we’ve got a nice human to snuggle with, we just love to snuggle. The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.
With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.
Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
