Just over a year old, Rainey is a lovable pup who’s ready to charm her way into her forever home. She is goofy, curious, and has incredible snuggling skills, she’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly.
People Are Her Favorite
Rainey loves human attention. Whether you're a long-time friend or someone she just met, she’ll greet you with tail wags, excitement, and plenty of love.
Ball Lover (Fetch… Still a Work in Progress)
Rainey is all about her squeaky ball—she just hasn’t quite figured out the “fetch" part yet. She loves to grab her ball and run around in the backyard or just roll around squeaking it.
Expert Snuggler
This girl is a world-class cuddle buddy. She’ll snuggle on you, beside you, or anywhere she can get close. Think of her as your own warm, sweet, weighted puppy blanket.
Potty Trained
Rainey is fully potty trained and understands the routine like a pro.
Crate Trained & Sleeps Through the Night
Her crate is a safe place. Rainey sleeps peacefully in it all night and loves using it as a safe, cozy retreat during the day.
Adventure-Loving Companion
Rainey is always ready for an outing—walks, pup friendly stores, car rides—she’s in! As long as there are people to give her pets along the way, she’s thrilled.
Rainey is ready for her forever family!
Rainey is very interested in cats… a little too interested, she’d do best in a home without feline roommates.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, playful pup who will fill your days with love and laughter, Rainey can’t wait to meet you!!
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
