Hi there, I'm Eloise! My fosters nicknamed me Weezy and Ellie. I am an extremely active and sweet girl. I love to cuddle and am very friendly. I would do well with dogs, kids, and cats. I am around 3 months old and am a Lab mix. I am very smart, listen well, am crate trained, very good in the car, and working on my leash training. I love to run and play! I was rescued from a shelter where my broken leg had gone unnoticed. It healed up wrong and now I have a permanent limp. Despite this, I am happy and active as can be! I would run and play all day if you'd let me. I can't wait to meet my forever people.

Donations can be made to our mailing address P.O. Box 4342, Estes Park, CO 80517 or through PayPal. Other donations such as beds, food, treats, toys, collars etc., can be brought to either the Estes Park Pet Lodge or Animal Hospital of the Rockies. Crossroads Ministry also accepts open pet food as well as cat litter donations!

Submit Application

You can fill out an application below or on the Buddy's Fosters website https://buddysfosters.org/ (We will contact you within 48 hours)

3.
Home Check

We are required to conduct a home check. These can be done virtually or in person before you can be approved to adopt.

4.
Approve Application

General approval can be between 1-3 days, with weekends often taking longer.

We have an application process. Generally, we like for you to meet the animal before applying. We will check your vet references if you presently have or have had pets previously. A phone interview or home visit is common. General approval can be between 1-3 days, with weekends often taking longer.

Go meet their pets

We do not own our own facility. We pay to have our animals boarded at the Estes Park Pet Lodge (Cats) and the Animal Hospital of the Rockies (Dogs). At this time this is our general rule of housing as well as our fosters. Some of our dogs are fostered in Loveland by Buddy's Fosters.

More about this rescue

The Pet Association of Estes Park was created in 1973. It was founded with the goal of helping the area homeless animals in need and to educate youth and the community about the humane care of animals. We provide shelter, care and veterinary services to stray and surrendered animals until we can place them in loving homes.

One of our founding and very important goals, are spay and neuter. We hold a spay and neuter clinic every Fall. Our donations help assist the community in this very important endeavor.
