My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet 10 month old, 13 lb Chihuahua mix puppy, Peanut. Peanut was taken into rescue from the lobby of a local shelter, where he was being given up by his owner. Peanut can be shy when meeting new people. He comes around quickly Once he does, he's an outgoing, happy, loving, active pup. Peanut has not been socialized to other dogs. He will do best as an only dog. Apply to meet Peanut at adoptocpets.org/adopt

More about this rescue

The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that develops and provides creative solutions to find safe, loving, permanent homes for displaced pets in our community.

We offer adoption services, as well as placement and referral services, to successfully match pets with highly compatible people and families. Through public education, we encourage humane pet care and responsible, long-term pet ownership. We bring together people with pets, and individuals with their community, to create the social change needed to achieve our goal of reducing shelter euthanasia rates and eliminating pet overpopulation.
