My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some feline body language together!

My favorite pastime is being visually admired! Pet me with your eyes!

Zin tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.

A volunteer writes: Taking up the space she deserves seems to be a new thing for Zin and he's doing a great job! He likes to sleep on top of his little cubby with paws reached out wide or with his belly up and paws over head. Accompanying either combination with big yawns and big stretches that speak much louder than this tiny little kitten seems to normally prefer, shelter life hasn't quite proven to be Zin's style but we're proud of his progress and the path he's taken. Zin ran into a Good Samaritan's home and tried to make it work for himself underneath their couch. Though that wasn't the right fit in terms of a forever home, Zin's efforts have paid off as he's now one step closer to finding you. He's a baby at just 7 months and asking him to look at the big picture as he looks for his family may be as big as one of his paw stretches, but still he's trying and he hopes you can see that when you come in and visit.
