Meet Bear (aka Brochacho)!
This adorable 2-year-old, 8-lb terrier/chihuahua mix is as sweet and loving as they come! Bear is a total people pup — he wants nothing more than to be where his humans are. Whether that means curling up in your lap for snuggles or napping in a cozy bed nearby while you cook, Bear just wants to be part of the family.
He’s house-trained and goes potty outside like a champ. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his crate without a peep. Bear does wear a belly band to discourage marking, but after three weeks in his foster home, he’s made fantastic progress and rarely even tries.
This happy little guy is full of love and joy, always ready with tail wags and affection. Bear would be the perfect addition to almost any home — one that’s ready to give him the love and companionship he so happily gives in retur

Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!
The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
