Blue is a gentle 12-year-old Australian Shepherd who has been the devoted companion of my mother-in-law for many years. Through my mother in-law's illness and declining health, he never left her side and was always loving and ready to comfort. Now that she has moved into a nursing home that doesn't allow pets, we're looking for a kind and caring person or family to welcome Blue into their lives.
Blue is a fun, sweet, and loyal dog. He adores children and older people alike. He's house-trained and has spent most of his time indoors with regular leashed access to a yard. He is a bit overweight at the moment, and would thrive in a home where he can stretch his legs, explore, and enjoy running and roaming outdoors again.
