My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena was found as a stray with enormous patches of hair loss due to mange. Her whole face and the top of her head was covered in this painful and itchy condition. The shelter staff worked hard treating her and over a month later, this girl is a whole new pup. Her hair has grown back on her face and you ALMOST can't tell that she has such a rough start to her life.

Athena will need a patient family. She is still a puppy and has lots of fun and playful energy. She will also need help with basic manners. We have already started teaching her how to be a good dog and she needs a family who will provide her with structure and routine.

If you think you may be the family for Athena, head down to the shelter and ask for her by name!
