As the leaves started to change color, eight saplings began to grow at SNIPSA. But Birch, Maple, Oak, Aspen, Hickory, Myrtle, Ash, and Elm want to take root in your heart instead! These siblings are three months old and full of sweet puppy play. And while their breed has us totally stumped, one thing is for certain: they will make the most loyal companions with whom you can welcome in the holidays! Their long legs and floppy ears lead us to believe that they will reach around 50 pounds (or more) once they reach maturity. Just make sure to water them, give them lots of fresh air, and spend plenty of time with them so they can thrive! So, are you ready to nurture one of these tree-mendously cute rescues? Apply to meet them today!

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
