My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Arthur, a distinguished and steady gentleman estimated to be about 6 years old. With his striking black and white speckled coat and calm demeanor, Arthur is a dog with character and wisdom.

The Protector: Arthur arrived at the shelter as a stray alongside Annie and Alvin. His stable presence is especially important to his friend, Alvin, who is much more timid. When Alvin is feeling nervous or unsure, he often looks to Arthur for comfort and confidence.

Because of his crucial role as a source of comfort for Alvin, we strongly encourage interested adopters to consider keeping Arthur and Alvin together, or at least ensuring Arthur goes to a home with clear experience managing dog-dog introductions.

Arthur is a wonderful, supportive dog who deserves to finally settle into a loving, permanent home.
