DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Amelia!
Amelia’s story began when she and her sibling wandered onto someone’s property in rural Georgia, searching for safety and care. They had been living outside — no place for a vulnerable puppy who just wants love. Despite her rough start, Amelia is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and submissive girl. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has a calm, loving nature that wins everyone over. Just look at that precious face and those soulful puppy eyes — she’ll melt your heart in an instant. At her young age, Amelia is in the perfect stage for training and socialization, ready to learn and grow with her new family. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
