Bella was surrendered to the shelter in Tennessee when her previous family said they didn’t have enough time for her. But this sweet girl is ready to find a family who will give her the love, attention, and adventures she deserves.
Personality
- Bella is a joyful, affectionate pup who greets everyone with a wagging tail and wigglebutt.
- She’s gentle when meeting new dogs and loves making friends.
- Playful and fun, she would thrive with a canine buddy to wrestle and romp around with.
Favorite Activities
- Exploring the great outdoors—hikes, lakes, forests, you name it!
- Running and playing in a fenced yard.
- Enjoying toys (especially when food is involved—she’s very food motivated!).
Training & Growth
- Bella was kept in a crate for long periods in her past, so she’s still learning to feel comfortable with it.
- She’s eager to please and would benefit from training to learn more commands.
- With her intelligence and motivation, she’ll pick things up quickly and shine in any class.
Ideal Home
Bella would love a family who enjoys outdoor adventures and daily exercise to keep her happy and relaxed. Whether it’s a family with kids or an active household looking for a loyal companion, Bella is ready to fill your home with joy.
Bella is a fluffy, happy girl with a beautiful personality who’s waiting to explore the world with you. Apply today to make her part of your family—she’ll bring love, laughter, and endless tail wags into your life!

More about this rescue
Fetching Hearts Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer run rescue that is dedicated to saving dogs who have been abused, neglected or abandoned and finding loving, caring homes for them.
We rely on a network of foster families so that each dog that we pull into the safety of our rescue is placed in a foster home and is no longer confined to a life in a kennel.
We are committed to helping dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes by partnering with shelters and animal control services right here in Connecticut as well as with several high kill shelters in the South.
We do a full assessment of each dog's temperament and health to ensure that we are able to find the most suitable home for them. Every dog is fully vetted - meaning they are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and micro chipped - before being adopted.
The ASPCA estimates that approximately 3.3 million dogs in the United States enter shelters each year, of which approximately 670,000 are euthanized*. Our goal is to advocate for and provide education about the need for spaying and neutering to eliminate what has become an epidemic of unwanted dogs.*
