🐾 Introducing Tex! 🐾

A brindle beauty with the gentlest soul. He might catch your eye with that gorgeous coat, but it’s his affectionate personality that will truly win you over. Every tail wag and nuzzle is full of love! Tex is confident and has never met a stranger. 💜
He came into our care as stay, 10/24/2025 and shortly won over the staffs hearts.

🏥: Tex is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, weighs 43.4lbs, and estimated to be a year old.
🐶: Tex hasn’t shown any sign of reactivity towards other dogs while in our care. We would have to do a meet and greet with other dogs in the home after your application has been approved. ☺️
🐱: Tex has not extensively been cat tested.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
