My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These darling little boys were the result of an oops breeding. Daddy is a senior citizen Sheltie (Shetland Sheepdog) and no one thought to worry about him being able to make puppies! Malti-Poo mama was a great mom and Laddie and Shep have been well loved since birth. This listing is for Shep and he's a little doll. He loves his raw diet, his kitty friends, his brother, and his people. We're looking to place him in a holistic minded home where a real food diet will be continued. We expect him to mature at about 15 pounds.

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

Inquiries are replied to by email explaining details about the pet and our protocols. If the applicant seems good fit, we call by phone

2.

Meet the Pet

After an extensive phone interview, arrangements can be made for the family to come and meet us and the pet

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

If all goes well, contract is signed, fee is paid, and the family goes home with their pet. Full lifelong support is then available to them

Additional adoption info

We follow raw feeding and holistic protocols and require those who come to us for a pet to do the same. We offer lifetime support, and take any pet back returning adopt fees should a situation arise where the animal is no longer able to stay in the home.

Go meet their pets

We don't display rescue dogs to the public through adoption events at stores, etc. Instead we interview families interested in a particular dog with a view to matching that dog with the best possible candidate.

More about this rescue

As the Northern CA chapter for Heartbandits AED rescue, we are available to help American Ekimo Dogs and other small dogs, puppies, and small pregnant dogs in need. Our protocols include raw feeding and holistic care which we encourage everyone we place a dog with to continue in the interest of optimal health and longevity.
