Short legged and spicy is the new "in" thing this coming year so Noreen has it all covered and man, she is a cutie patootie! Noreen is a Feist mix adult who weighs about 28 lbs full grow. How is that for
a fabulous size? Especially because she is as able to fit into your lap as easily as she is able to hike with the big dogs. Noreen does well with other dogs and would love to have a doggo friend in the home, to follow, play with and pal around next to when you're busy. She is a little shy about new things but warms up super quick and wags her whole little tubular body when she is happy which is a sight to see! Great in her crate and a gal who likes to keep it clean, Noreen is the little package that packs a full punch of cuteness day in and out. Do not miss this one.
Sleepover feedback: "Noreen was such a fun girl to have for the weekend. She was busy investigating the toy box and curious about all the things around her. She was great with my dog (50lb/11 year old/pointer-pit mix) and really tried to get her to play! While she was unsuccessful they did take little naps next to each other. Noreen was great on a leash and learned to sit at the door when she was ready to go out to do her business. She's spunky and smart and will make a great companion for someone and would probably love to have another dog around to play with".
Weekend Host Feedback: "She quickly found her place between our 45lb Boxer mix & 19lb Fox Terrier with minimal fuss. No cat exposure but she cuddled right up and slept on the lap of our 12 year old son. Noreen has no formal leash training but wants to please and occasionally pulls slightly. She loves to sniff. Rode like an angel in the car seat, no issue around town or to/from SG.
She’s clearly house broken, no issues. She appears to be crate trained and found safety in crate when nervous. She went right in to sleep. On Saturday we took Noreen solo to our local small pet and small hardware stores. On Sunday she went solo with me on a 1 mile hike where she loved the sniffs and feared no obstacle. She is shy, however, we saw glimpses of a BIG personality peak through. You’ll see it when her eyes light up and her tail is at full mast, swinging carelessly. Overall, Noreen's a great companion, comfortable snoozing on the couch, or taking a stroll in a small pack or as a solo dog."

More about this rescue
Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
