What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Bailey Bae almost 3 years ago, and she’s been such a loving part of our family. Unfortunately, she hasn’t adjusted well to life with our toddler, and we want her to have a more peaceful, stress-free home.
Bailey is an affectionate, active 9-year-old, about 25 lbs., and naturally long-haired. She’s a fun mix of Aussie Shepherd, Border Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Dachshund, Pit Bull Terrier, and Supermutt. She has a bit of “alpha-tude,” so she needs a child-free, pet-free home where she can feel fully safe.
Her leash reactivity is minimal and limited to reactive dogs, cats, or wildlife. She knows her basic commands but isn’t perfectly consistent. She loves walks (a mile or more), exploring, sniffing, chasing lizards, and cozy naps. She’s great on hikes and has even done a 10-miler.
We adore her, but she’s had a few nipping incidents with children and is clearly overwhelmed. She deserves a calm home where she can relax, explore, and soak up all the love.
