Foster Home Feedback
11/30/25 Foster Feedback: Planchette has fit right in with our resident dog's and other foster dog's daily routine. She kennels very well when asked and will happily hang out in it on her own. She sleeps in her kennel over night until the morning without a fuss. Planchette is an absolute sweetheart and will come right up for cuddles, loves soft fuzzy blankets to stretch out on and curls up right next to you. She enjoys partaking in the ice tax when you go to the fridge too. She does get a bit distracted going outside to potty, there's too much fun to be had of course. She'll need solo potty breaks to be sure she gets her business done. Winter doesn't seem to bother Planchette much either, she has enjoyed racing through the fresh snow and crunching on the ice on the deck. She would do best in a home with other dogs her age that can match her high energy level. Over Thanksgiving she did very well with new people coming over, sat on the stairs without barking and patiently waited to meet them. She was wonderful with our 9 year old niece, playing tug and curling up for cuddles with her. She barely barks and is quite content to either chew on a bone or to be napping on the couch. I have no doubt Planchette will be an excellent addition to someone's home.
9/23/25 Foster Feedback: Planchette is settling in beautifully. She's such a playful little girl, full of energy and curiosity. While she hasn’t spent much time focusing on our cats yet, it seems they’re still a bit intimidating to her.
Planchette gets along wonderfully with our large dog. She’s respectful during playtime and understands when our dog doesn’t want to share toys. It’s been great to see that she hasn’t shown any signs of resource guarding, even when around high-value items.
She’s also doing well with kennel training. Sometimes Planchette even tries to go in with our other dog, hoping to share the space. Potty training is coming along nicely too—she’s mostly got it down, but since she’s so quiet, we’ve learned to pay close attention to her body language.
