Hello, my name is Loona. I was born on December 27, 2018, and I am a gentle, loving cat who treasures quiet moments with my humans. I have a calm and serene nature, and I thrive in peaceful environments where I can relax and feel safe. If you’re searching for a devoted companion who offers unwavering affection and warmth, I may be the perfect match for you.

 I am incredibly affectionate and love to shower my people with gentle love and tender purrs. I eagerly seek out cuddles and enjoy being close, often curling up beside you or resting my head on your lap. There’s nothing I adore more than soft strokes and quiet moments of connection, where I can express my deep fondness through gentle head butts and slow blinks. I love to bask in the rays of sunlight on the kitchen floor at kitty corner.

One of my favorite indulgences is my cardboard scratching post, where I love to stretch and sharpen my claws. When I’m completely at ease, you might find me lying on my back, proudly exposing my belly—a sign of my deep trust and comfort.

I’m a thoughtful and sensitive soul who takes time to adjust to new surroundings. I need a patient adopter willing to allow me to settle in at my own pace. Because other animals cause me stress, I would flourish best as the only pet in a peaceful home, but I can live with respectful cats that will give me my own space. I also do best with older, respectful children who understand my gentle nature.

For my health and well-being, I do best on a weight management diet to keep me feeling my absolute best and full of energy.

Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
