My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiny Dog, Big Heart, Looking for Her Person!

Meet Lulu, a small and petite sweetheart with big ears and an even bigger personality. Perched on her chair like a little queen, she has that “I’m observing everything” look that makes you instantly curious about her story.

At 2 years old, Lulu is past the chaotic puppy stage but still young enough to enjoy playtime, walks, and new adventures. She is the perfect size for someone who wants a companion that can curl up in their lap, ride along in the car, or snuggle beside them on the couch after a long day.

Lulu does not ask for much. She wants a safe home, a soft place to land, and a person she can follow from room to room. Once she bonds with you, she will be that loyal little shadow who makes ordinary moments feel a bit more special.

Ready to make Lulu your new family member?

Submit an adoption application and be sure to ask for Lulu by name. Petite pups like her do not stay available for long. She is ready to trade that photo backdrop for a real home and a person of her very own.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for visiting!

If interested in our adoptables please contact us at hopefultailsadoptions@outlook.com, and let us know who you're interested in meeting. You must fill out an adoption application if interested in adopting followed by an adoption contract.

All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed and neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs, we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks, if necessary.
