My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We got Duke at 3 months old in early 2020 before the pandemic. We live in a small 1 bedroom apartment, but were planning on moving in the summer to a larger home with a yard. Then the pandemic hit and we were priced out of moving into a larger place. Duke has adapted well to living in an apartment, but would do better with a larger yard. Duke has had many health issues with environmental and food allergies. With proper diet and regular cytopoint shots we have been able to manage these allergies. It is now suspected he has developed Lupoid Onychodystrophy, causing his nails to grow quickly and become brittle, causing pain and discomfort while walking. We can no longer afford further diagnosis or medical treatments, so we are looking to rehome him with someone that can provide him with the care he needs.
Regarding his personality, he is very friendly. He gets anxious during car rides and loud noises such as fireworks or thunder. He does NOT get separation anxiety.
