Hi, I’m Bear! 🐾

I’m a 6-year-old white Lab mix with a big heart, a gentle soul, and a love for adventure! Whether we’re hanging out inside or exploring the great outdoors, I’m happiest just being by your side. Honestly? I prefer people more than toys — nothing makes me light up like good company.

I’m a smart boy who knows my basic commands, like sit, stay, shake and laydown! I’m super food- and play-motivated (treats? yes please!). I’m also great with small animals, so I’m an easy fit for lots of different homes.

Car rides? My absolute favorite. Outdoor activities? Count me in. Long walks, hikes, sniffing the breeze — I’m ready for it all.

We are located at 3 Arrow Avenue in Cody Wyoming. Our adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from noon-5:00. We have amazing dogs and cats!

More about this shelter

We are a small animal shelter located in the heart of the old west, Cody Wyoming. The majority of our funding comes from an amazing community of animal lovers who give whenever they can to help the many homeless pets in Park County. We currently have the facilities to care for as many as 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and we are not affiliated with any political action organizations.
