History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own!
A Note from the Foster: Hey you, down here, I'm Teller!!
I had a rough start to my life but I can tell that whatever my future holds is so much better and I can't wait to see where I end up!
Let me tell you a little about myself!
I'm learning how to "dog" as my foster mom calls it, so give me some grace! 💕
• I'm estimated at a little over 1 year old, listed as a boxer mix, who weighs around 38 pounds! I need to put on some healthy weight but I'm small & compact. My foster mom tells me I'm the perfect size!
• Almost fully potty trained - I know where to do my business but I'm still trying to figure out how to hint that I need to go out!
• I'm crate trained - I love to take naps and get enrichment toys in here, sometimes I whine for the first couple minutes because I know I'm missing out on some fun but quiet down quick! I sleep soundly all night! 💤
• I love cuddles and meeting new people in my house. I like to think i'm a lap dog & I give in to all the love I can get! Meeting people in the big scary world is a little tough for me but I'm quickly learning & opening up!
• My foster mom thinks I would do ok with kids with some patience!
• I've enjoyed meeting new dog friends in my foster home but I'm still learning how to play - my foster siblings are showing me the ropes! I prefer to play with similar size dogs to me, big dogs can be a little intimidating at first.
• I know how to sit already and I'm really good at it! I'm a fast learner and just want to please my people.
• I'm such a goofy, bouncy, happy boy once I get comfortable!
I have so much love to give & cannot wait to find my forever home. While I'm searching for that forever home I'll be soaking up all the love from my foster family while they continue showing me the ropes of "dog life"!
Love, Teller 🤍🐾
