Rex is looking for a special home. He is part of a group of dogs all coming from the same home where they all lived outside and where very under socialized. We also now know there were occasional fights for food so we are listing him as no other dogs so he can live competition free. He is truly a gentle giant. He is a fish out of water here in the shelter. Everyone is showing him love and attention, but he isn`t sure what to make of that. He is definitely enjoying it. HIs future adopter has to keep all of this in mind and show Rex how great life can truly be. Things another dog finds normal are all strange to Rex. He has learned to walk nicely on leash but must be double leashed just in case something startles him. Staff would be happy to advise his potential adopter on tips and tricks to help Rex adjust to his new lifestyle.
