Foster Home Feedback
11/26/25 Foster Feedback: Ollie came to our home about two weeks ago, and right away we knew he was a good boy. Ollie is already potty trained, does not mark his territory inside, sits on command, comes when called, and loves attention.
Ollie gets along great with our much larger rescue dog (about the same age), and our very rambunctious 11 year-old son.
Ollie really does love attention and snuggles; he will bury his muzzle in to stay warm and fall right to sleep. He LOVES food, so don’t leave it out! He is starting to learn more manners. He now sits patiently while his meal is prepared and will wait for his command to start.
Ollie is wonderful on a leash. He also loves exploring and playing fetch in the run yard. A yard with established boundaries would be best, as he will test them. Although he will come when called, he will see how far he can get.
Ollie does well on car rides. He will lean on your shoulder and watch the world go by. He may not necessarily like the kennel but will go in if bribed with a treat. Once in the kennel, again, although it’s not his favorite place to be, he will not fuss about it.
Ollie is almost one week post-neuter- even the vet tech commented on how sweet of boy he is. He took his meds like a champ, we didn’t have to doctor them up with peanut butter or anything. He wore the cone of shame without issues for the first couple of days. It may have gotten damaged once he started getting more active, but nothing a little duct tape wouldn't fix.
Ollie's favorite place to be is by your side, he is such a good boy and would be a great addition for any family, or anyone!
