Hello there! My name is really Bertha Booty but you can call me B.B. My foster mom has a sense of humor and she says my spots on my face match the spots on my Booty and I look the same coming and going!! LOL!!
Anyhow, my real mom’s name is Jypsy and she is a beautiful brown shepherd mix girl of about 45 pounds or so. She was pregnant when she came into the rescue and I have 11 siblings!! That was too much for my poor mama to handle so 6 of us came to foster mommy and were fed bottles to drink out of.
I am not sure what kind of Dad I had, but I am thinking maybe he was one of those rambling kinds since he didn’t stick around and I am a different color than mom. That is ok, because I like being a little different from most of the sibs. I am as sweet as cotton candy though and love to be held and played with.
When you are a bottle baby, you think people are your family so you are more bonded to them than to other dogs. I was born on October 6th, 2025, and I have my medical appointment scheduled Dec 8th to get my baby making parts taken out, and then I will be ready to go to my new family.
I will most likely be a medium sized dog, and while I have the softest fuzz all over my body, I will probably be a short to medium haired pup. So I can go to the cooler north or stay in the warmer south. Either is ok with me as long as I have my forever family with me!!
My adoption fee in Texas is $250.
Out of state fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $550

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.
Adoption fees with transport included start at $400 higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home.
We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
