My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Wonder was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team

Why Wonder might be the one for you:
Wonder came to us with her puppies and was a diligent caring mother. She has done her mother thing, her pups are on to their new homes and Wonder is ready to be spoiled and babied. She is a little lady who will easily fit in your bag as she accompanies you on your daily activities. But, first, Wonder needs your help to finish her training to become a well socialized gal who can trust and love people. We have used positive reinforcement techniques to help Wonder warm up to people. She now solicit pets and shows us the sweet and silly girl that she wants to be. She will be best in a quiet home with caring, patient owners who understand her dog language. She hopes that her new owners will move at her pace which can be slow and she hopes they ask her for consent to help her feel comfortable. With time, training, care and love, Wonder will get in your bag, be your new buddy and be so grateful that you took her home. Are you and your home ready for a little lady who is ready to be loved and babied? If so, come and meet this little Wonder.

At SDHS:
Wonder has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered. Wonder is now ready for their new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
