Who has the biggest heart and the most love to give? Me, thats who! Im Clyde, and I recently lost my longtime owner, which has been hard on me, but Ive been living in a foster home where Im rediscovering comfort, companionship, and all the things that make me happy. My foster says Im gentle and always ready to share love.

I show my affection in the sweetest ways. I dont jump, I give gentle kisses, and if you stop petting me too soon, Ill place a paw on you to ask for a little more. Im completely potty-trained and have great house manners. I rarely beg for your food, and I do well when left alone.

My favorite things in the world are walks, car rides, toys, and lounging on the couch sharing all my love with you. I love going on walks and exploring - sniffing everything along the way is half the fun! I also enjoy car rides where I can watch the world go by. When Im not out adventuring, I love playing with squeaky toys, chasing a ball, or curling up for a nice long nap.

Because Ive been through a lot of changes lately, Id do best in a home with adults or older kids where life stays peaceful and predictable. Once I feel secure, my sweet and loyal personality really shines.

I have so much love to give, and Im ready to find my forever family to share it with. I want that to be you!

Love from Clyde

We are reserving Mondays and Tuesdays for appointments for members of the public who are immunocompromised or are still uncomfortable being in large crowds due to COVID-19.
If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member!
Adoption Requirements:

- Adopters must complete a survey and present photo identification to meet any of our animals.
- For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets.
- Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $350. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
