Meet all-American girl Camille, aka Chameleon! This quiet girl is a black-mouth cur mix rescued from the swamps of Louisiana where she was dumped during a bad storm (along with siblings Atticus and Penny) and left to fend for herself in an alligator-ridden area known to flood. Luckily, a partner organization of saints rescued these cuties and transported them up north to GFR. Camille is a super sweet, tail-wagging, five-month old pup who is smart as a whip and eager to please. She arrived super skittish but is quickly coming out of her shell and learning humans can be good. Camille has mastered potty training and crate training with her foster family in a very short time. We expect her to be around 60 pounds when grown. Great with kids and other dogs, this puppy would be best placed with an active adopter who hates squirrels (strong prey drive!) and doesn’t own any socks (favorite thing to chew… and swallow!).
Her adoption fee of $300 covers her spay, microchip with registration, vaccines, and current monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventions. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply
