My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Queen had the 'Bugs Life' litter... and is so happy to not have that anymore. But at 4 years old, she is still mothering other kittens... she is still learning how to care for herself. As she's learning self care, she loves to be pet. She loves treats and toys. She doesn't mind polite dogs but lets nosey puppies know not to bother her.

Tuxie is still skittish and working on knowing people are friends. But, doesn't mind taking her time and playing with other cats and watching the dogs closely. Queen is helping her figure house life out. She is about 8 months old.

They will need safe access to outside in their new home.

Additional adoption info

Clear Creek Cat Rescue rehomes kitties based on 'best fit' approach. We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Go meet their pets

Dur to pandemic, we are doing virtual adoptions and slowly transitioning to in person. Our cats are available for adoption from their foster homes located all over southcentral Alaska.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
