If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Isaac is 15 months old and we adopted him 12/26/24, from a family whose older cat did not get along.
He is extremely affectionate, playful, and people-oriented. He wants to be with us constantly: cuddling, following us around the house, or engaging in interactive play. He scratches well on posts, enjoys toys, and uses his litter boxes reliably.
He does not do well with older, non-playful cats. He has never been with a younger, playful cat, so he might do well with them.
He is currently on stress management medication.
We think he needs to be:
An only cat, or possibly with a young, energetic cat who truly wants to play as much as he does;
In a home with people who can give him daily interactive play, especially in the mornings;
With someone who enjoys a very affectionate, cuddly companion;
Ideally with someone comfortable managing his current medication routine, or exploring under vet guidance, whether he can be weaned off it in a stress-free environment
