My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hotsy-Totsy is a gentle, soft-hearted girl. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a quiet moment and a calm voice, and you’ll see her tail start to flutter and her eyes light up with trust.

This sweet pup loves cozy corners, slow walks, and the comfort of someone patient by her side. Once she feels secure, she blossoms into the most loving companion.

Hotsy is looking for a family who can show her what it means to be truly loved. If you enjoy gentle souls and soft snuggles, she is ready to bloom in your care.

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
