Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marnie is a gentle 12-year-old tiny mixed-breed dog whose quiet sweetness shines through once she feels safe. She comes from a home where her former owner was living with dementia, so her history is limited, but what we’ve learned so far is that she is a shy dog who warms up beautifully with patience and a soft approach. Marnie is easy to handle and has lived comfortably with other small dogs; however, she struggled with other small dogs in a foster home while in care at MHS. She has no known history with cats, children, or larger dogs. We believe that Marnie may do best in a home where she can be the star of the show!
Marnie is currently taking several medications to support an eye with corneal scarring, and she is slightly underweight, though she is steadily gaining on a regular diet. With her gentle disposition and growing confidence, Marnie is ready to settle into a quiet, loving home where she can feel secure and cherished.
