Meet Tussey!
Tussey is one of those unforgettable dogs — bright, affectionate, outdoorsy, and completely devoted to her people. She’s incredibly smart and thrives on human connection. Whether she’s cuddling on the couch, leaning in for pets, or hanging out with older kids (her favorite!), Tussey is happiest when surrounded by her humans. Tussy is a 1yr old female Border Collie that weights 37 lbs.
This athletic girl loves the outdoors and makes an excellent running partner. She’s full of energy and joy, and she’ll shine in a home that can give her plenty of activity, playtime, and adventure. Inside the home, she’s wonderfully well-mannered: fully house-broken and does great in a crate.
Tussey’s ideal canine companions are submissive dogs; she can be reactive with dominant personalities and needs time to warm up to new dogs in general. With patience and positive experiences, she has been making steady progress. She can also show some food or treat reactivity, but this is improving as she continues to learn trust and boundaries.Tussy gets along with cats.
She loves her toys, loves to run, and absolutely loves her people. If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and incredibly sweet companion who will bring both adventure and affection into your life, Tussey may be the perfect match.
Tussy enters the training program on Jan 9th and will graduate and be ready to go to their forever home on March 30th. Don’t let that stop you though, get your app in today so you can get to know Tussy better through their training reports.
Tussy is spayed and UTD on all their vaccines, HW, FT, and have a microchip of their own. RPSM recommends children 6 years and older. Tussy will require a standard fence to keep her safe. If you are interested in adopting Tussy, please go to www.rpsm.org to fill out an application. Tussy’s adoption fee is $300.
