Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mateotia, Lily, and Puppy!
These three puppies came from a home with a number of other dogs. They can go home by themselves, in pairs, or with one of the other bonded pairs from the household (Fortune Cookie & Mochi, Bingo and Honeycomb). They are fearful of new people and situations, so having another dog around does help them feel more comfortable as they adjust. They are all very food motivated and, with lots of tasty treats, are learning to trust and warm up to new people. Since they are still nervous and need lots of time to adjust to the home and a new family, these guys are looking for people who are willing to take things slow and earn their love through calm words, gentle actions, and yummy snacks. They have no experience walking on leash and are not house trained.
Mateotia, Lily, and Puppy are in our special adoption program which sets adopters and their new pets up for success with pre and post adoption counseling. If you are interested in meeting them, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email cshamgochian@parl.org with any questions or to set up a meet and greet.

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
