My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mia a 4-year-old, 70-80 lb fully vaccinated and spayed beauty who thrives in a structured environment and has consistently proven herself easy to work with, responsive, and eager to please. Mia is looking for a calm, confident adopter who can offer her the routine and structure, which is where she thrives! She'll do well in a dog-savvy home and gets along with other dogs when management is clear and calm. We recommend a home without young children; teens may be fine with guidance. Over the years, she's completed several training programs--passing each with flying colors! . To support her in her next chapter, Happy Gentle Dogs will provide a complimentary Board & Train before adoption, along with a smooth, hands-on transfer and follow-up support to set everyone up for success. Mia has a solid foundation and a big heart. If you're ready to meet her with patience and purpose, we'd love to hear from you. If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Mia is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.November 26, 2025, 11:46 am
