My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My boroughbreaker writes: Coopster is a perfect Pit for pajamas. After a long walk, he would love to just snuggle up and enjoy your presence. He is a beautiful treat motivated young dog whose head is the size of his heart. On leash, he usually stays to one side and pulls unintentionally as he is a big dog. If you stop in your tracks, he will slow down. He wants desperately to play with other dogs and will do so with a wiggly body, but was not allowed. With a bit of training, Coopster is a perfect dog.

My boroughbreaker writes: Coopster was really good! He jumped a lot when we first started but stopped after a few minutes. He met two of my friends later on and jumped on them but only once. He definitely pulls hard on the leash and gets very excited when he sees other dogs. All around a very sweet dog, always on the watch.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

A Volunteer Wrote: Not only will this gorgeous hunk give you his paw, he'll let you hold it as long as you'd like, and then he will lean into you and look up with his giant brown eyes, just waiting to be pet. Because Coopster's favorite thing in the whole world is to be showered with affection, something the staff here is happy to do until you come adopt him. We're rooting for this beautiful baby and know you will be, too, once you meet him at Manhattan!
