My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Trix — the tiniest but mightiest of the bunch! She may be the runt of Honey Nut’s litter, but she definitely runs the show. Trix has a big personality packed into a little body and isn’t afraid to let you know it.

This spunky girl loves to be the center of attention and can be a little vocal when she wants you to notice her. She’s full of energy, always ready to play, and guaranteed to keep you on your toes!

Trix is brave, outgoing, and playful, exploring new situations with confidence and enthusiasm. She adores playing with her siblings and meeting new people — in fact, she’s never met a stranger she didn’t like.

If you’re looking for a bold, fun-loving pup who will fill your days with laughter, movement, and love, Trix is your girl! 💛

More about this rescue

We are located in South Mississippi, but travel up the east coast regularly (every 2 to 3 weeks) with pre-adopted animals. Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently. Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue.
