My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m Scruffy - that`s my name and my personality. I came to ECCHA as a transfer. I came to ECCHA very timid and shy, but through lots of treats and compassion from my caretakers, I am coming out of my shell and ready to try and find my furr-ever home! I am a sweet and curious boy once I warm up to you and I am playful with other dogs through the play yard fences! I love head scritches, cozy beds, squeaky toys, and being outside. I have not be tested in our doggy playgroup yet so please practice a slow introduction to anyone you have at home! I would do best a quiet and patient home who is willing to work with me on my timidness. My adoption fee includes a refundable $150 neuter deposit. Will you be the one who teaches me to love?

Visit www.eccha.org to complete our application online by clicking on a specific pet or the generic dog/pup or cat/kitten.

Approve Application

We will review your application and ask questions to help you and your family find the best fit. You will receive emails to keep you updated

3.
Meet the Pet

Approved applicants will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet either at the shelter or with the foster family.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Your application is approved, your pet is picked, you are ready to adopt. Sign our contract and pay the adoption fee to bring your pet home.
