Ranger is a total sweetheart and will make a perfect addition to any family, even for first-time dog owners. Prior to his rescue, Ranger lived free-range in a rural agricultural neighborhood. Now, he loves nothing more than cuddling up next to you on the couch. He’s an in-your-pocket kind of guy and just wants to make his people happy. Since he loves to cuddle pretty hard, he would be suited for a home with older children only. He is house-trained and crate-trained, and very trainable otherwise, as he picked up his basic commands quickly. He is fantastic with other dogs, but can play a little hard, so he would be best placed in a home with dogs or the same size. He is very interested in cats, and does his very best to respect their space, but can admittedly get a little excited if he thinks they want to play. Want a new best friend? Throw a tennis ball, and you’ve got one in Ranger!
