This stylish russet-haired beauty is Devon, we believe a Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, about 8 years old, and roughly 8 lbs. She came to us with a fist-sized inguinal hernia, which thankfully has been repaired. Imagine trying to walk with that when you're only three inches off the ground? She was recently returned because she wasn't easy to house train. As she origiinally come from a hoarder situation (and that huge hernia), she will need a lot of love and attention to learn how to properly go outside.
She is the epitome of a velcro dog, and will want to be touching you at all times. Be prepared to bring her to Zoom meetings and snuggle with her in bed and on the couch. She loves humans and has done well with cats and dogs of all sizes. She is so happy to get attention and will wag her lush tail at all times. Her $150 adoption fee covers her spay, hernia repair, cherry-eye repair, dental, vaccines, deworming medication, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives and microchip registration.
