Butterscotch – Yellow Female blend, 4 months, 25 lbs.

Meet Butterscotch—better known to her friends as *Scotch*, the sweetest little swirl of sunshine you’ll ever meet! This 4-month-old golden colored beauty weighs in at a perfect 25 pounds of wiggles, snuggles, and “did-someone-say-treat?” enthusiasm.

Scotch is already a crate pro and potty trained, which is pretty impressive considering she still thinks her tail is a mysterious creature that must be chased. She’s great with other dogs (instant playmate!), though her opinion on cats is still a mystery—possibly because she hasn’t slowed down long enough to meet one yet. She's a natural people magnet. Scotch has a manageable food guarding issue due to her history but with guidance she is already overcoming her need to scarf dinner down like a professional hot dog eater.

Like any growing pup, she’s got energy to spare, a bit of jumpy excitement, and could use some gentle guidance with leash manners and basic commands. She learns fast, especially when love (or snacks) are involved. All she needs is someone with a soft hand and a big heart to help her blossom into the amazing dog she’s destined to be. Small children might be overwhelmed by her energy level.

If you’re looking for a sweet-natured, people-loving puppy who will keep you laughing and fill your home with joy, Butterscotch is ready to melt right into your life. Apply at www.labrescuefresno.org.

The Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, Inc. [LRRF] was founded in November of 2010. We are a group of 100% volunteers that seek to find loving and permanent homes for our rescued dogs that have been surrendered for various reasons, come from a neglectful situation, or have been abandoned at shelters or on the streets through no fault of their own.
