Meet Barbie
Barbie is a truly gentle soul—about as sweet as they come. This lovely young lady may be a bit of a nervous nelly at first and can be cautious when meeting new people, but give her a little time and patience and she absolutely blossoms. Once she feels safe, her sweet, silly, and playful personality shines through and steals your heart.
Barbie has made wonderful progress with her foster family, gaining confidence as she makes new friends and experiences new environments. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home that will gently guide and encourage her, helping her work through her nerves at her own pace. Barbie does best with someone who will support her emotionally and help her build positive experiences, rather than removing her from situations too quickly.
She is extremely well-behaved and already checks so many boxes: fully house trained, crate trained, and currently working on her obedience skills. Barbie loves other dogs and thrives in their company—she even enjoys attending doggy daycare with her foster mom! She has a playful side, enjoys her toys, and is very treat-motivated, which makes continued training fun and rewarding.
Barbie also enjoys staying active. She loves to run and go for walks, and while she may need a moment to take in her surroundings, gentle encouragement helps her move forward confidently. With patience and consistency, she does beautifully.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will form a deep bond and reward your love with endless affection, Barbie may be the perfect match for you. She’s ready for her forever home—maybe it’s with you?

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.
NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
