My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie, a sweet, gentle young husky rescued off the streets of Stockton. She’s shy at first but warms up beautifully once she feels safe. Her confidence grows every day — her little husky tail has even started to curl again!
Charlie is wonderfully house-trained, quiet, and calm in the home. She enjoys curling up on the couch or in a cozy dog bed and loves being near her person without being clingy. She walks well on leash and rides nicely for short car trips.
She’s still learning that the world isn’t scary (garbage cans, sliding doors, and loud noises can spook her), so she needs a patient home that will go slow and help her blossom. She would do best as an only dog for now.
Charlie’s coat is growing in beautifully—soft, silky, and tipped in gold (you may want to call her Goldilocks!).
If you’re looking for a gentle soul who just wants safety, love, and kindness, Charlie might be your girl.
