Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bennie may be small, but don’t let her size fool you—this tiny pup is absolutely mighty and still has a lot of time to grow. A little sweetheart through and through, she fills every room with charm and cuddles. Bennie loves nothing more than curling up for long naps with her mom, batting around her favorite toys, and faithfully following her favorite people wherever they go.
Each morning, Bennie starts her day with a very important “morning meeting” with her sister, usually followed by a competitive round of tug-of-war. She’s a quick learner—she mastered “sit” in minutes!—though potty training is still a work in progress (and she’s doing her best).
With her brave spirit, soft snuggles, and endlessly sweet personality, Bennie is the perfect mix of tiny and mighty
All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
