Bailey is the single, sweet little pup of a very young mama who survived a tough start. Her mom was one of many dogs left behind in a home after the owner went to jail. At just 8 months old and badly underweight, she arrived into rescue only days before Bailey was born. Thanks to good care and a safe place to land, both mom and pup have been thriving.
Bailey is a friendly, wiggly girl who already loves people and enjoys exploring her surroundings. She has the softest reddish coat, adorable white toes, and a happy, social temperament. She’s expected to be a medium to larger dog when grown—likely somewhere in the 45–60 lb range.
She will be ready for adoption once she is old enough, vaccinated appropriately, and spayed. For now, we’re accepting applications so she can have her forever family lined up when she’s ready.

Cat adoptions are held at the PetSmart at 115th and Metcalf in Overland Park KS every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00. Cats available for adoption every day at PetSmart in-store cage area.
Dog adoptions are held at the PetSmart in Olathe KS at 119th and Strang Line, every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00.
