Barnaby is a 4-year-old Saint Bernard mix who wandered onto a rural property and was found by a hunter while out in the woods. Despite his rough start, this big boy hasn’t lost his love for people—he absolutely lights up when he gets human attention and wants nothing more than to be near his person.
Barnaby is gentle, friendly, and social. He does great with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine buddy to pal around with. He has been cat tested and was not reactive. With proper introduction he can likely coexist!
This big sweetheart is also smart and eager to please. He can jump a 4-foot fence, so a secure yard or supervised outdoor time will be important—but with his intelligence and desire to connect, he’s the kind of dog who will likely pick up training quickly.
